For a Healthy Pig Industry

ESTABLISHMENT

Vietnam Pig Operation, VPO) was established on December 12, 2024 in Dong Nai according to the wishes of more than scientists, managers, businessmen, and manufacturers, marking a turning point in promoting the sustainable development of the pig industry in Vietnam.

PRINCIPLES AND GOALS

Accordingly, the VPO is a voluntary organization established by organizations and individuals operating in the fields of science, production, business and services in the pig industry nationwide for the purposes of (i) inviting unifying members, (ii) Protecting members’ legitimate rights and interests and (iii) Supporting and sharing resources (materials, knowledge, and finance), and being responsible for helping each other improve labor efficiency as well as improving the quality, value, and competitiveness of the Vietnamese pig industry in domestic and foreign markets.

ORGANIZATION

Executive Council: 23 members, representatives of Universities and Companies

Managing Board: 07 members (1 Chairman, 06 Vice Chairman)

ORIENTATIONS

The VPO focuses on promoting science and technology activities, training, production support, trade promotion, research, and project development within the pig industry.

With its infancy, the VPO hopes to receive companionship and support from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals in order to build a healthy and sustainable pig industry in Vietnam.
